Camera Initialization Files To download an INI file, click on your camera model below (filenames with "p" designation indicate parallel-port camera models). When the document opens, use the "Save as..." command in your browser's File menu and download the INI file into your camera-control software (i.e., CCDSoft, MaxIm DL) directory. Depending on your browser's settings, you may be given the choice to open the file with Notepad or save it to disk, in which case, choose "Save to disk." NOTE: Use the following INI files only if you are using software that incorporates the latest version of the DLL. See our software page to contact the various camera-control software suppliers, and verify which version of the driver in use. Remember to change the base=, cable=, and cal= parameters to match your current configuration! There were additional parameters added when the new Active-X drivers were developed late 2000. In addition, the geometry settings were changed slightly. A summary of the changes is as follows:
